So we have our a/s on monday and we like to have names picked out so we can start calling baby by its name. Anyway I am pretty postive we have our boys name all set, Walker Heath, but I am really having a hard time thinking of a middle name for our girls name.
Its not 100% yet but we really really like the name Merida
Yes I know its from that new Disney movie but I think it is soooooo beautiful. But middles names are kicking my butt, Help me please!!!
Re: Do you guys wanna help me think of middle names??
The first name that popped into my head was Lynn. That's all I can think of right now.
Merida Elizabeth
Merida Noelle
Merida Marian
Merida Nicole

Do you have any family names you'd want to use? I always like family names for middle names.
With a three-syllable first name, I'd probably go for a one-syllable or maybe two-syllable middle for balance.
I love the way Merida Elaine sounds.
Merida Anne
Merida Abigail
Merida Leigh
Apparently I'm not up to date on my movies. I'm really bad at figuring out pronunciations - would you say it Mer-eeda (kinda of like hearing 'reed' in the middle), Mer-ida (hearing 'ide' in the middle), or Meri-da (sort of like starting with 'merry')?
Merida Ann is my suggestion.

Family names would be Morgan or Jane.
hmmm Merdia Jane is kinda pretty

Rose
June
Kate

I like the one-syllable suggestions that have been offered, esp. Jane, Claire & Leigh
You could also try:
June
Jude
Kay
For some reason, I like the long vowel sounds with Merida better than short ones.
Jane
Leigh
Kay
Ann
Very pretty (and I should never be allowed to guess at pronunciations).
I think my picks are
Merida Ann
Merida Jane
