Good-bye gift?

Since we're moving over 400 miles we have to say bye to our therapists.  Our PT has been one if those people who made a huge impact on our lives.  She has done so much for our DS from recommending our physiatrist to advocating for his gait trainer, AFO's etc. Last week she even came out and took him in the pool.  I get all weepy at the thought of leaving her and how remarkable she has been.

Any suggestions on a good-bye gift?  I plan on writing her a letter expressing our gratitude and how irreplaceable she is.  But I wanted to do something more but I'm at a loss.

To my boys:  I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew

  • Does she have a guilty pleasure you know about? Smutty books, chocolates, wine? maybe a gift card for one of those or an iTunes card or something for her nook?

  • I think the letter is good. How about making a small magnet on Shutterfly or something similar with your DS' picture - it sounds like she has worked a lot with him and she will probably always remember him. I also like AR's ideas. GL!
  • I like the idea of a small photo book of your DS throughout the time he spent with her.
Also just wanted to say that I admire your strength and courage. You are one amazing person.
