BOYS! HELP!

Alright - I'm about ready to flip out!!!!!

I'm not a new mom - I have a 14 month old daughter.. My son was born August 4th.. and WOW boys are completely different then girls...

I have one MAJOR issue and I cant figure out what the hell to do... When my son pees it comes strait out of the diaper... Like right up the sides of him and out the diaper.. I cant keep anything dry - Im changing him like 4 times a day... every person that holds him is peed on... all the blankets in the house have been peed on...

Why does it keep coming out of the diaper???? The diaper is on tight... everything looks sealed up?! and still I'm soaked again!!! I'm at a loss and ready to lose my mind... HELP. What am I doing wrong?!!!!!!

    yes,

    he is circumsized - so there is vaseline and gause on it now

    i just changed the brand of diaper and went up a size.. hoping this may help

    I think maybe the vaseline has something to do with it since you're already pointing his penis down.  I have two boys, so I was used to having a boy by the time #2 came along, and I still had problems with leaking diapers as his circ was healing.  After I stopped having to use vaseline on his penis the leaking diaper problem went away.

    The vaseline is keeping the diaper from absorbing the pee. After he's healed it will be better. I never used it for more than a week on any of my boys and they all healed well.

    I agree with others to make sure his penis is pointing down.  We also found that Huggies diapers leaked, no matter what we did.  We really like Pampers diapers, we never had issues with them, unless we needed to go up in size.

    YES POINT PENIS DOWN.. ! i didnt circumcise my boys but was peed on quite a bit.. until i figured it out lol

    I didn't have this problem and never bothered to see if it the penis was pointed down or not. I think it is the brand. We use pampers. I've used all of the pampers variations and never had an issue. And actually I just bought Luvs for the first time and haven't had a problem. I did have a problem w/ both Target and Huggies.
