  What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? 14 months trying, 4th cycle charting, CD 61 and still waiting to O
  

  Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week?

  I'm going to my OB next week for my annual, and I plan to ask him about TTC. Do y'all have any advice? I plan to bring my charts, and I want to ask about whether I can do anything to re-jump-start my current cycle and whether I should be taking B6 for my short-ish luteal phase. I am still BF-ing, so I don't think it would make sense to do any testing at this time, right? Is there anything else I should ask about?
  

  QOTW: How about a "drink 'till it's pink"-related question? Tell me about your favorite wine: favorite style? favorite affordable brand? favorite splurge? I've always been more of a beer or cocktails kind of girl but lately DH and I have been trying to learn more about wine. We've been into "fruity"-ish reds lately, like Zinfandels and some blends, but still trying to figure out which blends we like. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's suggestions!

  QOTW: How about a "drink 'till it's pink"-related question? Tell me about your favorite wine: favorite style? favorite affordable brand? favorite splurge?
  I am not big on lots of wine but when I do drink it I like a white zinfendel.   I don't really drink a lot of wine, though.

  Gray Ghost - I think some preliminary testing and possibly a referral to an RE would be good to discuss with your OB, particularly since you guys have been trying for over a year now.  A lot of the tests (usually blood draws, from my experience) will need to timed to different points in your cycle so testing can actually take a while if it's a step-wise rule-out approach.  I thrive on information, so for me, I would push for testing just because I'd want to be sure that we weren't missing out on a relatively easy fix to a fertility challenge.  All my RE stuff was several years ago, but feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer as best I can remember.

  My sister and her BF got engaged last month - yay!  I like the guy and am super excited for her.  They're looking to get married next summer and it will likely be in either Alaska or Seattle - his mom has health issues so can only travel by car and she lives in Alaska.  That's fine, I'd love to visit both areas. 

  But here's the vent - we just now get to start ttcing again and if I get lucky and get pregnant this cycle I'm looking at a edd of May 20th.  So pretty much for the next 3-4 months of ttc, if I'm successful I have a good chance of being too pregnant to travel or having a newborn that I won't want to take on a plane (particularly if he/she doesn't have the 2month vaccinations yet).  I don't want to delay our ttc any further, but I don't want to miss out on my only sister's wedding.  It's another reason to hate hate hate my miscarriage.  If I was still pregnant my edd would be Feb 1st or so.  So the baby would be at least 4 months old by the time summer rolled around.  I'm so angry at life sometimes.

Before DH and I got married (so over 5 years ago - wow!) we went on vacation to San Diego and ate at a random tapas restaurant.  There we tried a tempranillo rijoa and fell in love.  It's a nice spicy red wine that goes great with food.

  @ kj07 - Welcome back! So sorry you have to be back here again, but I hope your stay is short and sweet and that the timing all works out the way you want it to. Thanks for the tip on the rioja. I haven't tried one, but now that I'm drinking more reds lately I'll have to give it a try.
