Total AW: A/S went well

So we had our A/S yesterday and I am riding high on having see a HB and our LO. We found out we are having a little girl, and DD is so very happy to have a sister on the way. She looked great and sat in the cutest position. She had her legs straight out in front of her crossed at the ankles and she spent the whole appointment sucking on her thumb. Nothing feels as good to me as seeing her heartbeat. Even after seeing her kick her legs and move around (as well as feeling it for the past five weeks) it still made me feel a huge wave of relief to see her little heart beating. All of a sudden my mind is wrapping around the idea that there really will be another child in our family, a daughter, and she will be healthy. I miss those naive feelings of security and happiness that came with the first pregnancy.

Yay for a great scan!
Having a sister is wonderful. My sister and I are such different people, yet we had so much fun growing up together and I still get excited when I get to see her. Your daughters will have so much fun together!
