So last night we were laying in bed and DH so graciously pointed out stretch marks at the bottom of my belly (where I can't see).
So what are you using on your stretch marks? I see the mederma ad on the corner of the bump screen and I have samples of the Palmer's Cocoa butter stretch mark cream but do you use something different and does it help?
It's late in the game to start with lotions but I figure if I start using it now it might help after the baby is born
Re: Stretch marks - what are you using?
I have been using the Palmer stretch mark cream also ....I dont really know that it helps at all...I dont have any stretch marks on my stomach, just my boobs. And it doesnt seem to be helping those at all.
ETA: I've also used the Bio-oil, but I dont like it because it leaves my skin greasy and makes me break out....so I try staying away from it.

Nothing this time!
I rubbed my belly twice a day last time with either Palmer's or Bio Oil and I still got stretch marks like a Mo Fo! lol!
I mean honestly, they aren't *that* bad, but I had some on my hips and boobs from puberty so I figured I was doomed anyway. and I was.
Everything I've read says that if you're going to get them, you're going to get them, regardless of what you use. I use lotion all over my body every day. I have them in a somewhat circular shape around my belly button.
For the person who brought up Maderma, I am not sure it will help while you're still expanding, but I used it on my scars from a breast reduction and my scars look amazing.
I had been using Burt's Bee's Mama Bee Belly Butter, but I ran out and happened to have Palmer's on hand, so I'm using that. I really don't like how it smells, but I guess it's better than nothing.
The only SMs I have are on my sides and they're a little red. I keep telling myself it could be worse!
I use Mama Mio too - drugstore.com sells it:
