New Bedding Set

So I just bought a new bedding set last night and didn't even think about the fact that I'd be going into labor soon. I know it might be common sense, but I'm a FTM so I'm not sure exactly what to expect postpartum. Would it be wise to wait to use my new bedding until after I've healed? I'm not sure how much bleeding to expect, or if it will be more like a heavy period? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

    I'm a FTM but just because of the laws of the universe I would say WAIT! Haha. I bought a new coverlet that I'm excited to use but I'm definitely holding off until I've healed and my milk supply has regulated. Shout it out works wonders on all sorts of stains but I really don't want to risk it.

    I never got blood on the bed with either of my boys. I made sure to change my pad everytime I got up to feed/change them. 

    However, if you are nervous about it I don't see the harm in waiting. 

    Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader.
