If the little one is sick with a fever then it is probably just a febrile seizure. Scary, but generally not dangerous. If she is not sick and it's unrelated to seizure than it is more worrisome. Hope the little one is doing better and a good diagnosis/prognosis is made.
Febrile seizures are super scary. My oldest had a total of 3 in a 9 month time span from when he was 10 months on up. The scariest thing I had ever seen especially as a FTM and I was so young at the time and the first one started at a dang Walmart. Glad all is well! Hope she gets to feeling better soon.
I had a seizure disorder when I was a child - the kind one grows out of - and it made my parents completely freak out. I couldn't imagine dealing with a situation like that. Glad your friend's daughter is okay!
My youngest (4.5) has epilepsy. He was diagnosed with it at 4 months old. He doesn't have the grand mal seizures that every one is used to seeing, but rather, he looks aware, but it unconscious and sometimes stops breathing. It is terrifying.
On the upside, he is very advanced for his age and is super smart...those are two things we definitely worried about when we first got his diagnosis. He also does awesome with his medication.

I will definitely send some T&P's.
