just got back from the pedi *update*

At the office DS had a temperature of 102.7* The Dr checked him out and said everything looks fine so he thinks it must be "just" a virus. He said the temp should go away in a couple of days. They put a urine collection bag on him, and he was not a big fan at all! He wasn't too excited about the rectal thermometer either, since I just take an auxiliary reading here at home. Thanks for all your words earlier, they really helped this mamma get through her baby's first fever. Love you June Mammas!

    Are you sure it isn't HFM?! (considering all of us have posted about it today! Ha!) Wink

    yuck.  sorry the temperature is still high.  having a sick, cranky baby is the WORST!  those urine collection bags are pretty cool, i thought.  i know the kids don't like them, but i thought the one they stuck on dd1 once was fascinating. 

    anyway, good luck making it through the fever.  hope your little man is feeling better soon!

    Trust me, a urine bag is a million times better than a catheter. Glad everything's okay though. The first of many many childhood viruses. Common.
