I was interested in a Moby when pregnant with #1, I went to a fancy baby store and the saleswoman tried to help me tie it, and my brain went "omg" and I just couldn't process it. I knew that I wanted to somehow wear my baby, so I bought a Bjorn and used that the first few months, then bought an Ergo when she was 4-5 months old and LOVE my Ergo.
So this time around, I still have my Bjorn and Ergo. Also someone has already bought the Infant Insert for the Ergo for me. Well, I just found out that someone bought me a Moby! While I am intrigued and excited about it, I'm soooo nervous to actually use it. It just seems SO complicated.
Is there a great youtube video or blog that can ease my mind about this?
Thanks!

At first it seemed intimidating - after all it's a very long piece of fabric, but I practiced a lot at home and after a week or two I was quite confident. It's easy once you do it a few times.
Ditto PP to wrap it tight because the fabric will stretch.

I never got used to it... DS would be crying and fussing when I was trying to tie it and it took WAY too long for me... by the time I got it, he was usually screaming.
That said, if I was going somewhere where I KNEW I wanted to use the moby, I'd tie it on BEFORE leaving, drive with it on, and then take him out of the carseat (usually asleep) and put him right in the moby. I used it for that. But I got my moby for free, so it was a win win, even though I didn't use it that much.

Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?
PgAL and PAL always welcome...I don't think it's that difficult and I was really intimidated at first. I just searched on youtube for Moby and got a bunch of hits. That was super helpful for me. I would love to wear DD in it more often but it's really hot here now for it. I have worn her through the airport 3 times in it (including last week), and it's still very comfortable for me. When she was really little, she loved being snuggled up with me and it was a great way for me to get her to nap so I could get things done.
Practice it a few times, and you'll get the hang of it.
