Proud Moment (baby mentioned not mine obv.)

Soooo a woman that I work with brought in her baby today. The baby is 2 months old and I went out and said hi to her and everything. I didn't stay hidden in my office I just went out there and talked to her and the baby was just so cute and he just stared at me! SOOOO adorable.

Yeah, it kind of book ended my loss and now beginning to TTC because the day after I came back from my D&C a baby came in the office and I couldn't even look at the baby or hear it so I closed my door and just cried and when the baby was gone I just left for the day.

Anyways, I'm just really proud of myself for going out there and saving the tear that was inevitable for inside my office. I just have to remember THAT is what I want and it's what I'm working for... and it's worth it to help me keep my eyes on the prize!

    (((hugs))) Good for you. This is exactly how I feel when I see/spend time with my 1y/o nephew. It's hard, but it also serves as a reminder for me.

    Good job Wease!! When ever I see a baby, I just think about how much I want one and don't get overly sad. Good job on the step forward! Hopefully you will get your BFP soon!

    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    That is *sooo* awesome. I'm so happy that you had that experience. I'm so glad that you're healin from your loss in a way that allows you to feel so positive and good about trying again. I have had sort of similar bookends. Right after my loss I almost started crying in the grocery store seeing a little girl baby who was so cute and making faces at me in line. Now it is so nice to hold my friends' little new ones it makes me happy for them and just want to start trying again.

    TTC since March 2010 ~ Dx Unexplained IF September 2011
    2011: IUI + Clomid = CP#1
    2012: 3 more IUIs + Clomid = 3 more CPs. One on-our-own pg, also CP
    2013: BTB IUI + Lupron/Follistim/Prometrium/PIO = CP #6
    IF testing, RPL testing, Autoimmune testing = all normal
    So lost.
