Anatomy scan?

When is an anatomy scan usually performed? My next appointment is August 30 and I will be 15 weeks. I never think to ask what will be done at the next appointment, so I don't know if I'll be getting another ultrasound or not. But I was just curious if anyone on this board has already had their anatomy scan or when they may have had them with previous pregnancies. Thanks!

Right around 20 weeks. I always try to schedule mine for the day I turn 20 weeks. Kind of a "hey we made it 1/2 way - now lets see that baby!"

They told me to schedule mine at my 12 week appointment... They gave me the date for the earlies I could schedule it.

Yea, it's usually around 20 weeks. They let me schedule mine for 19w2d, I was so excited I didn't have to wait until the following week because my weeks change Saturdays.

My OB schedules them right around 20 weeks too.

My office does it at 20 weeks, so mine is scheduled for Sept 19th!! My office also tells you ahead of time to drink water, and gives you info on the scan, so you should know ahead of time that it is scheduled.

I'll schedule mine at my next appt (at 16 weeks) it will be scheduled for right around 20 weeks.

I should be scheduling mine on Wednesday! It will be between 18-20 weeks. Can't believe it's that time already!

My OB schedules around 18 weeks. This pregnancy it happens to fall exactly when I am 18 weeks. Yay! So they will most likely schedule yours at this appt. sounds like around the 20 week mark, but that's a guess of course.

Mine will be at my next appointment and I will be 18 weeks, I think they are usually done around the 18/20 week mark. At my appointment for this month, I asked my doctor if we would get the scan at our next appointment and she was shocked it wasnt scheduled yet. You may need to schedule your u/s at your next appointment.
