We just started solids and she's loving it! Right now she's eating/drinking mostly breast milk, with a little cereal twice a day. I'm curious to know what everyone else is feeding their babies.
LO gets four bottles a day and about an once of solids around dinner time. In a couple of weeks we are going to start giving solids for both breakfast and dinner.
I let Aria "taste" just about anything. She loves being able to feed herself, so baked sweet potato fries are probably her favorite right now. (she just gums them to smithereens.) I've also let her try out little bits of marshmallows and some puffs. (banana flavored)
As far as actual baby food goes, we pretty much skipped cereal. She hated it. She loves sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, and carrots. I also gave her some of my mashed potatoes, and she went nuts over them.
ETA: I forgot to say that I let her have some of my fruit & yogurt smoothie (wild berry) from McDonald's the other day. She loved it!

Lauren has mostly formula but she's tried rice cereal, squash, pears, peas and avocado.

Lucia eats everything! She has 4 bottles/day, and eats solids at all 3 meals with us. I make her purees and she has had banana, apple, nectarine, avocado, sweet potato, peas, butternut squash, green beans, broccoli, and I think thats it. She also loves to eat real food(she hold stick shaped pieces of what we eat) and has had most of the puree food whole, plus chicken, pork, clemantine, tomato, bacon, bread, pizza crust, bagel, and refried beans. There might be more but thats all I remember... She prefers solids, so we have to make sure to do bottles first so she keeps up with that.
We make her food. She has had oatmeal, advacodos, sweet potatoes, bananas, plums, green beans, peas, peaches, carrots....and once pizza crust somebody gave her at a party....and she loved it.
Other than the 25ish oz of breast milk a day, we are doing solids two times a day. At breakfast, he normally gets some fruit mixed with cereal (to thicken it). At dinner, he gets tends to get a veggie, veggie/fruit, or meat or a combination of any of these. We use cereal in all his purees because they tend to be too runny for him otherwise. We also let him try small pieces of whatever we are eating.
Re: What does your baby eat?
DS is EBF. He just started getting some rice cereal last week. Tonight we are going to introduce sweet potatoes.
We only do solids once a day for now.
