Nurseries and Baby Gear

Re: Which set do you prefer??

  • I like #1, however, why would you buy both?  Unless you want to have them each on different stories in your house, you definitely do not need to have both in the same room.

  • Personally---I'd go with the cheapest RnP possible. We just have the plain yellow one---it was something like $35. It doesn't get used for very long and the less padding on those the better (IMO).

    Out of those two swings.

I don't think it matters. I kinda think that all FP swings are about the same. We have the FP Papasan in Starlight (LOVE). With any of them though I would just try and get it through Amazon---SO.MUCH.LESS!

  • We have the FP Snugabunny and absolutely love it. It plugs in and swings two different ways. It just looks so snuggly!

  • I have the snugabunny bouncer and swing.  The swing plugs in - I don't think the little lamb does?  Check that out so you don't go through a bazillion dollars in batteries!

    It does plug in.

  • I would just go with the set on clearance.  You use this stuff, especially the RnP for such a short time, it isn't worth the extra $$$.

  • I'd go with the set on clearance, pretty sure the lamb model is just the updated snugabunny.  Not worth the extra $100 imo.

  • I would go with the cheaper swing- your kid may or may not like it.  So, as long as it plugs in and goes both directions, you are good

Also, I would wait on the RNP.  You may not even need it.  If you baby can sleep flat and doesn't need to be at incline, you really don't need it.  And if you do- seriously just get the cheaper version- I think it comes in a basic yellow and pink.  there is no way in hell i would spend a ton of money on it especially if you are just getting a different color cover.

Babies use the gear for such a short amount of time, that it REALLY isn't worth it to get the more expensive items.

This.  We also have the Snugabunny bouncy seat and they are awesome.  I don't get the whole RNP fad, we just used the seats and had one less peice of larger baby equiptment.

  • I'd go with the almost $100 savings in #2. I don't think there's a big enough difference between the two.

  • Go with the cheapest RnP, and the FP Cradle n Swing (My Little Snugabunny).
  • We got the snugabunny swing in place of the natures touch one we had that only used batteries, I will tell you the plug in saves you a fortune and a headache (when it suddenly dies, baby is just about falling asleep/calming down and you realize sh*t you don't have any batteries!)... although I will say that I'm pretty p*ssed. The swing we had worked wonderfully, AND it was handed down to us... had gone through 3 kids and went to us. Not a single problem with it (aside from the batteries)... since buying this new bunny one in March, I have gone through 3 motors and now theres electrical problems so I have new swing legs and adapter being shipped to me...
