Early Gender

My husband and I went for a u/s at 13 weeks 4 days. The tech said she knew what the gender was already. I feel like that's very soon! Has this happened to anyone before? She didn't want to tell us the gender just in case she was wrong.

The tech at my NT scan guessed a girl. And it's a boy.

Far too early to be sure, so it's good she didn't tell you. Just wait until 20 weeks at your a/s. Even then they can still be wrong!

We could clearly see 3 distinct white lines, and US tech said 80% girl. Same situation with DD#1, and she was right. I think it's harder to tell with a boy, but not sure. The lines are the best indicator.

The earliest I got one was 16 weeks but it was right.

My friend had hers revealed early as well, maybe even a few days earlier than yours. Her tech was right!!

My OB will not even discuss that until the anatomy scan ultrasound. Usually, they do those in my office at twenty weeks, but we are getting it done a few days early this time because the tech who usually does them is on vacation.

we had an ultrasound at 16 weeks, and it was pretty obvious...and then we got the results-and the tech was right.

My sonographer made a guess at 12 weeks (he ensured us it was only his best guess) and he was right! I think sometimes they can GUESS. An educated guess but still not a guarantee.
