What are your thoughts on Easton? I'm not expecting but I LOVE names and am constantly throwing out names to DH. I got a text from him asking my thoughts on Easton. I'm not sure. I'm not attached to it, so have at it! I would just love to hear opinions.

Ironically, Weston bothers me less.

It reminds me of hockey equipment, but I don't mind it. My DH is super conservative so he'd never go for it.

I think I like it so much because I'm in love with country music, and it reminds me of Easton Corbin.

DH's cousin is naming his baby Easton. My first thought was, 'Huh, guess he'll never have to write his name on his sports equipment.' I'm not a fan.

There's a town around where I live called Easton, so that's my association.

Some acquaintances of our names their little boy that and it takes great effort for me not to cringe when I hear it....it's just such an ugly name.

Yeah, I was on the fence before. Now I am off and on the side of this is not a good name! DH might be heart broken, good thing we aren't expecting and he can have time to mourn! LOL.

I know someone with a son named Easton and while its not my favorite, his middle name makes Easton look awesome. Its Skywalker. No joke.

I wanted to name my son Easton sooooooo badly but my husband wanted Landon instead. I am so upset I didn't fight harder for the name. My dad grew up in Easton, MD so it was a way to honor him but the hubs just couldn't get on board. It is much less popular than Landon which is why I really preferred it over Landon, and now when we hear of all the other babies being named Landon it makes me cringe and I get a little mad at DH. Don't get me wrong I love my son's name too, but I will just never be able to get Easton out of my mind.

This is the only name my dh suggested while I was pregnant and I vetoed it right away. I don't like it for my own child, but I certainly wouldn't side eye anyone else for using it. My dh liked it because it thought it sounded "country" and I actually think the opposite and think it sounds snobby.

It's a mall in Columbus. I don't like it as a name for a person, but if I didn't live in the area and hadn't heard of the mall I might not have an aversion to it.
