Let's hear 'em...
Mine: I did the one thing I hated when I was pregnant. I gave somebody the "advice" that made me want to punch the person when I'd get it...
I said... wait for it... ... sleep when the baby sleeps YEAH I did! Well not in those exact words but that's basically what it meant...
But don't worry, I immediately slapped myself for it LOL
I couldn't believe what the fck came out of my mouth!
Re: FFFC
This made me LOL
Too funny! I feel your pain. I'm not from the US or an English speaking country so I really don't know any of the nursery rhymes. I try to sing some but I just totally butcher them. The only song that stick is the 'Itsy bitsy spider" They played it on Toddler Tunes so much that I finally memorized it LOL
Hahahahahhaaa I laugh at myself too! My grandma sings "itsy bitsy spider" to DD and she butchers it also...Hmmmm starting to see a pattern with our family not knowing the words hahaha!
L.M.A.O.!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks to you my co worker thinks I am nuts for LOL hahahahhaa!! Too funny!! My patty cake goes like this " Patty cake, Patty cake bakers man, Repeat 10x" Lol.
Oh don't get me started with patty cake! We roll it and roll it and pat it with love and throw it in the oven for everybody lol
Lol I am so happy I am not the only one!!
hahaha this mama buys diamond rings and a new penthouse.
My FFFC is when DS wakes at night I let him fuss for a few minutes, even if it's been over 3 hours since his last feeding. If it hasn't been long since he last fed, he'll sometimes go back to sleep. So a part of me is hoping I'll get lucky and he'll go back to sleep even though he rarely does. I do feel bad about it when I go to him after waiting because he is more worked up than if I went in right away, but it's never more than 5 minutes of crying.
I do this also. DD sttn so I know when she wakes up she usually just wants a pat on the butt, or her binky. If she fell asleep a few hours before bedtime I know she is hungry, then I'll get her bottle ready.
I hate the stupid suction bulb thing, it never works! So I too will pick DDs nose. Much quicker and easier
all. the. time.

this is cracking me up! i know a lot of nursery rhymes but i get bored with them so i make up my own songs. like the other day i made up a song with my niece (who is 16 btw) about "4 fluffy lambs go out to play, they spot a hunter and run away. the hunter shoots his bow real straight, 3 fluffy lambs are left to play..." and on and on. i'm messed up I know.
Baby 2 EDD 7-18-14
I purposely leave my pinky nails longer so I can pick ds's nose and ears lol.
I'm pretty good with nursery rhymes. My repertoire consists of Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle, ABC song, You are my Sunshine, and I walk the Line by Johnny Cash. Dh likes to harass me that the last one is so random but I happen to know all the words and it's slow enough to put ds to sleep.
My mother is terrible with nursery rhymes and screws up almost every line. It's always close enough but not quite there. Like "The Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the wall. Down came the rain and washed him away. Out came the sun and dried up the spider. And the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the wall again." I did tell her though she had to get the ABC song right so she's been working on it (english is not her first language). LOL
"Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it the more it will elude you but if u turn your attention to other things it will come & sit softly on your shoulder."

Ok, here's mine...
Remember that song "Too high for the supermarket, too high for the grocery store..."? Well I actually really like that song, and I found myself singing it when we were getting ready to go the grocery store. I quickly figured that I should change the words to make it more kid-friendly, so now it goes like this:
"We're gonna go to the supermarket, we're gonna go to the grocery store! (repeat)
We're gonna shop and shop some more!"
hehe. She loves it!
