Infant swimming lessons Syracuse my

My baby girl will be 11 months in a few days and I would like to put her in swimming lessons but cannot find any classes ... Does anyone live on Syracuse ny and know where I can put her in classes .. Thx

    We are in swim lessons at the YMCA in Fayetteville, but I know they also offer them at the Y in Liverpool.  We are members, but you might be able to find out if you can pay a non-member fee to do just swim lessons.  They run on a six week rotation and I know that the next ones in Fayetteville will be starting in about three weeks or so.  I've also heard that Jamesville Dewitt School offers swims lessons but I don't know anything about their program or how to register.  Hope this helps.

    I am actually looking into this now for my 9 month old daughter.  I called the YMCA in Fayetteville last week, and today is the Lottery (not sure what that is exactly), but you can go join and put your name on the list for lessons. There were quite a few openings for Friday evenings and Saturday mornings for the infant swim lessons as of last Friday when I spoke to them.  You do have to be a member, and the rate was $71.50/month for a family.

    I am waiting to hear back from the Jewish Community Center now as I believe they offer them too. According to their website, you can join as a part-time member with limited access (including pool) for $36/month for a family.  When I hear back, I'll come post the details if they do in fact offer infant lessons.
