LO woke up after 3 h of sleep, I changed her and nursed on one side for 30 min. I burped her and she woke up again, so she nursed on the 2nd side for another 30 min. I put her asleep in the crib and went to the bathroom. When I come back she is wake and spat up.
Change clothes, diaper... when I get to the last snap she spits up again. Another pajama, now she is nursing again. We have been up for more than 2h (((
Re: night feeding frustration (vent)
So sorry you're going through this...If It makes you feel any better, know that you're not alone...I'm doing the same thing ...I'm up and just nursed and home alone
I havent taken a shower yet, afraid to wake LO up....I'm waiting for him to fall into a deeper sleep so I can get up. My LO did the same thing earlier though. I nursed for 2 hours (cluster feeding). I put him down and went to get some water. I drop an ice cube on the floor from the kitchen and head back to the bedroom for my shower to see LO up from the noise of the ice cube dropping on the floor...so we start the whole nursing routine again...This is why my LO is almost 14 pounds...:( know that you're not alone!
Sorry you're having a rough time. I hope you get some rest soon.
My LO puked up his formula last night and during his first feeding this morning. He rarely does this so I don't know what happened.
yes, it made her angry. She wasn't crying or fussing, just awake and wanted to nurse.
Could be a two month growth spurt as well. I also used to unswaddle and change LOs diaper in the night, but itwoke her up too much. Now I put a barrier of diaper cream on b4 bed, and when I feed her, I don't even unswaddle her. She feeds and then 90 % of the time she'll fall right back to sleep again. If I change and unswaddle her, she's up for an hour at least!
