I am starting to plan. First thing on the list is to decide where to have it. We currently live in a smaller condo. My living room is on the small side and not big enough to hold the 30 people that will probably be coming to his birthday party. My husband has a big family he has 3 other older siblings all married with kids. Plus his parents, my parents and my sister and her boyfriend. Neither of our parents houses are large enough either to hold so many people (during the winter time). My parents have a large back yard and deck but that just won't work in December!
So I thought I could have it at our church community room (I would have to pay to rent this out). Or my sister offered up her house. She has a huge living room and dining kitchen area that could hold everyone. However, she lives about 20 mins from where we live. What would you guys do??? Should I have everyone go to my sisters or rent out the church community room in town?
I am glad to know I am not the only one. I have been researching all kinds of ideas. Teagan is my only child, so I want it to be a big deal. I will say, I have bought invitations and party hats. Only cause they were cute and on sale at Hobby Lobby. I am still seeking ideas. I want to do it outside the house casue of space and not wanting to set up and clean up. I am in the Dallas TX area, so if anyone has ideas please share.
