I have suffered two pregnancy losses. One in November and one 7 weeks ago and here I am 4 weeks pregnant. We are in shock because both other times it took us 5 months so we never expected this-we are so happy but so scared. Did anyone else have two miscarriages and go on to have healthy pregnancies??

~*~*Everyone Welcome*~*~
I had a loss at 9 weeks in November 2010 and one at 11 weeks a year ago, and now I'm 14 weeks with my third pregnancy. I would certainly not call myself a success story yet, but getting out of first tri was a pretty big deal.
My best advice is to remind yourself that your past does not dictate your future, and just because you had losses before does not mean it'll happen again. I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly this time around
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Yes it is possible. I had a loss before DD. Carrying her was a dream pregnancy. Aside from all the PGAL thoughts, we were I was very lucky. Following her birth, I had three miscarriages. DH and I were totally distraught and "gave up". We finally decided we couldn't go through it any longer and we would be a one child family. This was over four years of IF. Out of the blue I got pregnant just one month after my last m/c. So far, 19 weeks, everything is going well. I have my A/S tomorrow, and I am very nervous, but that will let us know if things are going well or there are worries beyond what I already have. Keep your head up. Don't lose faith. It can happen.
I had 2 back to back losses prior to this pregnancy. I am currently 20 weeks. Both were natural m/c's with no known causes but it was suspected that they were due to low progesterone. I had my progesterone tested the day of my BFP and it was a little low so I started taking supplements.
Hope you have a happy and healthy 9mos.

I just had to say thank you to the OP for starting this thread. It was just what I needed to see this afternoon. We should totally compile all the success stories after RPL and put them on the TTCAL blog.
He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.
<a href="http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/behapybride/?action=viewI've had two losses before this baby. After our last loss, I was given the label "habitual natural aborter" and went through the chromosome analysis, habitual aborter blood panel, two series of genetic testing and and hsg procedure. 52 tubes of blood later, they came back with absolutely nothing but told us the next baby would probably only have a 25% chance of making it to twelve weeks. Two weeks after finding out we had no answer, we found out I was pregnant and we both cried out of pure love and joy yet absolute fear.
Im still here! There is still hope! As I'm sitting here typing this I can feel this baby kicking inside me. Don't ever, ever lose hope. Love that baby with every fiber of your being and always know there is still hope.

"Darling don't be afraid. I have loved you a thousand years. I love you a thousand more."
I had a non-complicated successful first pregnancy with my son and then 4 consecutive miscarriages (3 in 6 months). Now I'm here - nowhere near success yet, but further than I've been in a long time.
I ditto the PP who said that your past does not dictate your future. It's hard to think that you can have a successful pregnancy when you have a history of loss. But it happens for a lot of women!
GL!!!
Yep - had 2 back to back in 2011, after having an uneventful pregnancy with DD, and while I'm not "out of the woods" yet, we did hear the HB last week and everything seems to be going fine. I am older so we did all sorts of testing and everything came back normal. My OB more or less told me it was just "bad luck" and that I would most likely go on to conceive again and carry to term.
Hang in there....so sorry for your losses and congrats on your BFP!!
I have an 11 year old dd. I had a m/c in November 2010 and another one in May 2012. I'm now 13 weeks and very hopeful that this is our rainbow baby.
Good luck to you, mama!

Congratulations on your BFP!
I had two early, unexplained (bad luck) losses and then a third pregnancy that wasn't expected. A very anxious first tri, and here I am at 30 weeks.
After the first tri was over, and I allowed myself to believe I was really truly still pregnant, I've had a mostly happy and easy pregnancy, and I see my two losses as one time of loss (they were very close together).

Where did your crazy doctor get that statistic? Everything I've read says that after 2 losses, there's at least a 60% chance of carrying #3 to term. I totally
I've had 2 losses prior to this pregnancy. one jan '11, and one jan '12. We've made it farther with this pregnancy than the prior two, but it's still early and I'm still nervous but trying to be excited at the same time. I used progesterone supplements until just this week so here's hoping the placenta will take over sufficiently soon! Best of luck to you!! This is such an inspirational post. Thanks so much for starting it!
