Could it be mastitis?

I know I could post this at the BFing board but I never post there so I feel like "I don't know" anybody there lol.
So, a month or so ago I had a milk blister that it took forever to pop when it did I kept getting it back. Eventually my nipple was cracked and bleeding. It looks closed now but I get this shooting pain when LO is sucking and now my whole breast feels like a car fell on it. I thought maybe DS kicked me in the middle of the night. But today I woke up feeling like if I had the flu; extremely tired, light headed, weak and I might have a low grade temp.
Now, since I never sleep and I'm very underweight being tired is normal for me. But could it be mastitis? This time I really feel way worse than usual. Either way I'm gonna call my gyn on Monday but mean while I thought why not ask you guys.

Definitely sounds like my symptoms when I had it. I felt awful! I actually called my ob/gyn on Sunday because I felt so bad from the flu-like symptoms. In addition to the symptoms you listed, I had chills and a high fever. Mine resulted from a clogged duct, so I also pumped and nursed a lot on the infected side.
Hope you feel better soon! Mastitis is no fun!!!
Well Friday night I felt like crap, my mom cooked for me and the next morning DH let me slept in-- I got in two full uninterrupted hours, woohoo! And I felt much better. Maybe all I needed was a good meal and some sleep?
Either way, thanks for your replies, I think I will call my gyno tomorrow anyway.
