when did you LO's sit unassisted?

My girls were 2 months early, now are 7 1/2 months (not adjusted) and still are not sitting unassited. They do for a few seconds here and there but not good enough that I can walk away w/out fear that they'll fall over. 

My question is when did your LO's sit unassisted w/out any problems for extended time?

    Not until about 7 months.  They got really good at it right around their 8 month-day.

    Mine were born at 32w6d and it was around 8 months before they started. 
    Diagnosis: DOR and MFI-low everything IVF #1 = triplets! 2 girls and a boy! Born Sept 29, 2011 at 32w6d due to Pre-e and HELLP syndrome Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    My boys were born at 37w 1d.  They started sitting up right around 6 months.  I didn't feel comfortable letting them sit up alone without a Bobby around them until around 7 1/2 months.

    One ofmy girls started at 5.5 months.  The other just started at 6 months 1 week.

    6.5 months for both. But G would practice more than I, so she was sturdier at first. They were born at 35 weeks.

    Mine still fall over! But they are much better then they were even a month ago...I found using the boppy helpful but now I think it hinders them because they think it will always be there to catch them!

    Mine were born at 37w3d, they started sitting up unassisted at 6 and 6.5 months, but I'm just now (at a little over 7 months) feeling comfortable leaving them on their own.

    Mine started sitting unassisted for short periods (20-30 seconds) right at 7.5m. They were only 2 weeks early though, and it took a few more weeks for them to be able to sit unassisted for more extended periods.

    My girls were two months early as well and didn't start sitting up unassisted until 9 months.
