Hannah is either going through a picky phase or she is bored with the food we are giving her. I need snack ideas. Animal crackers, graham crackers, ritz, saltines and Cheerios are a no go anymore. She can't have dairy, so no goldfish or cheese crackers. She will eat fruit but I am looking for more travel friendly stuff. Thanks!!
Re: Need snack ideas
Non-dairy ... hmm. Does she have her molars? DS loves nuts, but DD has a hard time with them because she only has four teeth. Granola is also a big hit here. Cucumbers and peppers sometimes work, though it depends on their moods.
ETA: This is a great list of ideas: https://www.100daysofrealfood.com/2012/07/31/85-snacks-for-kids-and-adults/

We do those pouches of applesauce a lot... he loves those. Fruit cups, freeze dried fruit, they have freeze dried fruit and veggie bites by the yogurt bites- maybe those are dairy free. Nutrigrain bars (I buy off brand). He'll eat tomatoes and cucumbers if I put a little season salt on them (bad mom- I know).
Sitting here thinking about our norms, we do a lot of dairy. That must be a tough restriction.
haha I've been putting seasoned salt on all her veggies lately. She eats 4x as many that way, so I vote that it's worth it
I figure I wouldn't want to eat plain bland peas, why should I expect her to?
Ditto Veggie Straws... DD loves them!
Not sure if they would work with her allergies though, sorry!
