Why is it that supposedly loose stool means impending labor? I have had this for two days now and still nothing, but everything I read says that it should start within a day or a few hours, what gives? At this point, short of my water breaking or collapsing during contractions, I don't think I can take these "labor signs" seriously anymore.

I've had that awesome "symptom" for weeks now. Obviously it doesn't mean anything for me.

I have also had loose stools going on 3 weeks now. Not fun! And I have had zero other signs.
