What worked the best for me was just to nurse them as often as they wanted for as long as they wanted, so basically having DH take care of the one who was done nursing while I was dealing with the eating one.
I've never used nursing shields, but they can definitely impact your supply. Maybe check kellymom.com for tips on weaning off of them.
More Milk Plus did give me a small supply boost when I needed it, but not as much as lots of skin-to-skin nursing time.
Can't help you with the second one because I failed at officially bfing twins, but I pump and drinking lots of water and mothers milk tea help my supply. I started drinking 4 cups of tea a day and noticed and marked improvement. And when I don't drink enough water, my supply definitely goes down.

Nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse and then nurse some more. Fenugreek, pumping between nursing sessions, oatmeal, lactation cookies. You can talk with your doctor about a prescription for Reglan if none of the "natural" methods work, but be aware that it can cause some pretty wicked depression. Good luck.
I am only 2 weeks in, but I have been drinking mothers milk tea.Not sure if it makes a difference but it tastes nice and is a calm spot in my day! I am also using nipple shields and looking to start weaning in the next week or so. Hope that goes well for you!
I used a nipple shield with one of my girls, who had difficulty latching. She got the hang of it after a 2 or so weeks. To wean her, I started each nursing session with the nipple shield and a few minutes before the end of the session, I would take it off and try nursing her without it. Gradually, I took the nipple shield off earlier and earlier in the nursing session. It got to the point where she did not need it to start nursing.
Good luck!

Exactly this, except I cut off at a half hour (they were usually done eating before then anyway). After that Jake would feed a bottle if they were still hungry, change, etc.
I used a shield and I don't feel it affected my supply. I would just always try NOT to use it before putting it on. It took a bit but by 6 weeks both boys were off it. Now they're champion latchers, lol.
I fed them often and pumped a little to increase my supply. I would try them without the shield and if they wouldn't do it, I'd put the shield on. Don't stress about the shield. I used it for several weeks and was able to get them off of it pretty easily but there's a woman in my BF support group that used it until she weaned at age one, NBD.
