Pain down there question

Hi everyone~

 

So my cervix was checked this week twice and both times was closed and 4 cm, thick etc.  The past two days I have been having alot of pain and soreness from where my vulva is all the way to my rectum (sorry had to give directional terms).  Also some soreness from round ligament pain down the sides.  I am worried my cervix is taking on too much pressure etc.  I am wondering if anyone has felt this before.  I mentioned it to my Dr. and she said it was normal pain, but I guess it doesnt seem normal to me?!  Anyone has this?

    Sorry for the discomfort!  I think you should trust your own instinct and call your ob to discuss about your symptoms.  Hope you feel better soon!

    I've had some vulva pain.  In my case, it feels like an angry cat attacked the whole area.  In my case, I think it's just the increased blood flow. There's also lightening crotch...  I assume your cervix was checked due to something unusual about your pregnancy?  Could the reason behind the checks be the answer?

    I have pain in my vulva, too, but only on one side.  It turns out it is a varicose vein.  Have you looked down there with a mirror to rule that out?

    I had this more in the 3rd tri with LO.  Maybe even toward the end of the 2nd.  If the doctor says it's normal, I wouldn't worry too much.  But if you still feel something is wrong, call them and bring it up again.
