so i know i haven't been around much lately, i've been busting my butt to finish my summer classes early so these babies could come and i wouldn't have to worry about it.
anyways, my platelets were low last week (124k, normal is 150-450k) and we retested yesterday, had dropped to 109k. the only way to fix that and my ever-worsening anemia is to take them out. my intended parents are so excited, it's so cute... they are also like, wait? now? we are actually going to be parents? what?
so. monday. i'm nervous because i've never had surgery. and the dr mentioned he would go ahead and have blood/plasma/platelets ready for me in the OR, just in case... but he seems to act like it's no big deal, so we'll go with it's no big deal.
Re: csection moved up to monday!!!
amazed at what you're doing everyday. seriously you have some wonderful karma owed to you
that's excited, best of luck monday. Your doc is just mentioning precautions he will be taking. typically not problems, but best if you prepared & then hopefully you don't have to use it.
good luck!

Good Luck on Monday.
You are an amazing person to carry someone else's babies. Not many people could actually do that. Best wishes and I hope everything goes well for you.
