I have the feeling....tell me you know what I am talking about.

DH thinks I am crazy, but I have the gut feeling something is wrong. I was getting a box out of our storage room and it hit me. I swear I heard my mom's voice calling my name. I called her she is fine. I even woke up DD (which I never do) because she was not moving on the monitor. We can not get ahold of my sister, but she is at a wedding and I am hoping she texts soom. Tell me though you know what i am talking about. DH thinks I am nuts. My mom, sister and I have done this before where one of us needed the other and we felt it. Am I weird or have you had that feeling before too? I know some people say mother's intuition, but it was even before i was a mom.

    I've def had that feeling. To me it's an anxious feeling, like I know bad news is coming. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I hope you hear from your sister soon and that the feeling passes. It can be very difficult to function sometimes while caught up in that 'dark cloud' moment.

    Okay, I'm totally going to freak you out more, but I agree with you that women just know.  I knew the day that all three of my grandparents died before anyone told me.  One day I was at the gym and I had that feeling.  I went out to my car in the middle of the workout to find a frantic message from a friend that my niece (then just boyfriend's niece - she was about 15 months old then) had fallen the pool and was in ICU at the children's hospital. (For the record, she's a happy 9 year old now.)  I have had days where I call everyone I can think of just to check on them because I have a feeling.  It's real.  I don't blame you for freaking out a little.  Hopefully, it's a fluke this time though.

    I got ahold of my sister she is fine. My mom even had my grandmothers assisted living check on her becuase my mom looked back at a pic My aunt sent today, and my grandmothers eye looked droopy. Well the assisted living place went to check on her and she seems fine. hopefully this passes, and it is nothing.

    I really hope it is nothing, but I totally understand what you mean. When I was about 7 months pregnant with J, I had a strong urge to call my sister, who was almost 3 months pregnant. She didn't answer her house or cell phones. About a half hour later my BIL called me to tell me that they.had lost the baby. It was horrible,but I just knew something had been wrong.
    I'm really glad you've spoken with all the ladies in your family. Hopefully everyone is okay and stays that way.

    I hope it's nothing! I'm glad everyone you checked on is ok.

    MH actually is the one who gets a "feeling". We passed on many houses when house hunting b/c he had a bad feeling. After he had a bad feeling about our first apartment that I completely ignored & ended up being a terrible (understatement) experience, I learned the hard way to take his feeling seriously.

    I know exactly what you are talking about. Like PPs said sometimes I find out right away that indeed something did happen other times everything appears fine. I say "appears" because you don't know what you don't know...if that makes sense.

    One morning when I was in HS I was heading to school and when I walked out the door for some reason told myself I am going to get into a wreck today. Sure enough I pulled into the HS parking lot and this idiot couldn't park her car right and backed up 2 or 3 times without looking behind her. The last time she backed up and bam hit my truck. It just got some paint on my bumper but he broke her tail light. Hahaha.
