So, I left our 10yr old home with Dad this morning to make breakfast and do laundry, while I took our 5yr old out for her first school shopping trip (I already know everything my 10yr old wants, and she's super easy going, so she has no problems chillin' at home, but our 5yr old is an unpredictable fashion diva and this is her first year - yay Kindergarten - so she had to go along).
Long story short, she picks out her tie-dyed Hello Kitty backpack, a pink and white polka dot Hello Kitty lunch box, her floral Hello Kitty water bottle, her sister's Monster High backpack/lunch box set, all of the most glitsy folders/notebooks/pencil boxes/etc she sees... we head up to the check out.
Cashier sees the two back packs and says, "Oooooh is this all for you, or are there two kids going back to school?"
Alyce smiles wide and shouts, "Yeah! We're both going to school! And there's two more babies! They're in Mama's belly. That's why she's SO HUGE!!"
The cashier seemed a bit shocked and she smiled and said, "I don't think your momma looks so huge..."
Alyce grabs my sweater and pulls it aside and goes, "No, look! Her belly is so big! Don't you see??"
lmfao
Priceless.

I'm really not super huge yet, but I look pretty big because of the ginormous cysts I'm lugging around.

I am over-run by the glitz. Even for halloween, Alyce's black cat had to have a "diamond" collar, hot pink hair, and gems for whisker studs.

and 80s dance night was more dressed up than I remember the 80s being...
