With my new great job comes the need for us to find daycare for both kids. We went to a few different places today, the Academy has room for an infant but not for a toddler, the Goddard has room for a toddler but not an infant until November-ish, the Kindercare right by us is icky, grr. The Kindercare by my new work is really nice though and has room for both now so we'll probably do that. Unless it seems worthwhile to do the Goddard for J and somewhere else for K until we can get her in there. J is going to go full time but K is only going to do 3 days & spend 1 day w/ grandma & 1 w/ H.
Also, I just realized we will spend more money in 1 year on daycare than my whole college tuition.

Re: Ugh, finding daycare for 2u2
I'm am completely terrifed of the price of daycare for two. I've been trying not to think about it at all. If we were smart, we would have waited until LO1 was in public school I guess. It's going to be a small fortune and it makes me very anxious to think about it right now. Sounds like the place by your work will be the best bet! Good luck!
Ugh. That sucks.
The only reason we were able to have 2u2 is because my mom and MIL trade off days watching DS1 when I work part time and don't mind watching both boys. In the beginning they might even watch them together until they get the hang of balancing them both.
