2+ time moms- how does this pregnancy compare?

This is my 2nd pregnancy, and I can't help but compare it to the first. Some things are similar, and some are quite different. I had ms with my 1st, but I can't remember when it started. I have had no signs of it yet. This time I am having hot flashes that I didn't have last time, and I am just way warmer than usual. My extra mucus and tiredness is the same, if not a little less. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing differences in 2nd+ pregnancies. Not sure if the differences are just because its my 2nd child or a child of a different sex.

I am way more tired this time around, but I am also chasing a 2 year old around.

I never got dizzy last time, and I have had a few dizzy spells this time. Morning sickness with DS kicked in at about 6.5 weeks, so I guess I'll know in about a week if that's the same. I have no cramping with this one and it felt like AF was coming for a few weeks with DS. Breasts are still uber sore.

I'm feeling nothing really at all. I'm tired but I have a toddler and work full time so if course I'm tired! No ms and no stretching feeling yet. I guess things are already all stretched out down there from last time. Only thing keeping my brain thinking I'm pregnant is the lack of a period. I guess it's better this way than being super sick the whole time.

I am having HARDCORE nausea this time, and I really didn't have any with DS. I'm pretty exhausted too (but as a pp said, I'm also chasing around a toddler!).

I think it's too early for me to compare the two. With DD, I didn't take a test until a week after my period was due because I was out of town for work. So I'm still not quite to that point with this pregnancy yet. M/S set in fast in furious with DD so I'm bracing myself for the same. Sad

Hopefully they'll be totally different in that regard!

I think for me it is too early to be able to tell. My only symptom right now is thirst. I tell myself I will not have time to be sick or tired because I have a 20 month old I need to take care of, but only time will tell.

It's a little early to tell, but so far I'm feeling much more tired and much less sick. I'm not sure if it's just cause I'm too busy to tell or if it just hasn't hit yet, but so far I've only had a little nausea.

I'm about as tired as I was with DD. And heartburn has liked in early, just like my first pregnancy.

I'm much dizzier and nauseous this time around. I remember being nauseous with DD, but not this bad.

I'm much more tired this time around. Ms hasn't kicked in yet but I didn't get that with Ava until 6-7 weeks. Super thirsty as well. Oh and I am ten times as bloated as I was with her.

So far the same as my first two. A little less tired but it's still early. This time no headaches so far and some nausea. Which I did not have before.

I don't really remember a lot from early in my first pregnancy, but I know my boobs hurting and getting ginormous was the first sign. Lo and behold, mine hurt but they are too saggy from BFing to get noticibly bigger I am very crampy this time around, but it might be because I'm paying closer attention because of my m/c last month. I am pretty moody, but I'm pretty sure I was the same last time. And the fatigue last time killed me; hoping that's not the case again! My mucus comes and goes, but I know it was really creamy last time super early on in the pregnancy.

I didn't have ms last time, so I'm hoping it stays away.

So far it's pretty much the same. Sleepy, sensitivity to smell, and a little overheated. I was literally sweating this morning when DH informed me it was clearly just me as the house was only 70. No nausea, sore boobs or anything else. I imagine I will be more tired than last time since I have a toddler now. If I was going just based on symptoms then they are identical enough for me to think it's another girl. But I'm not banking on that!

I had a super easy pregnancy with DS so I am hoping the same goes for this pregnancy. I did get a little nauseous with him around week 9-10 but it didn't stay too long and I hardly ever threw up. This time around though I am already having hot flashes and always feel thirsty.

Symptoms with my first didn't really start until 6 weeks, but this time around I am already noticing things. I am bloated like CRAZY. I get dizzy, I am nauseous, and I am super tired. I take DS on a mile walk everyday and today I was out of breath and wanted to sit down less than half way through. I am really hoping for less MS this time around (who isn't? lol). Last time it was almost unbearable from week 6-22!

It is almost exactly the same. Nausea might be rearing its ugly head a little earlier (today) but I'm just as tired, spacey, and breast-sore as I was with my previous. I'm having some more RLP, though, but I kind of expected that.

Hello ladies!

My DS is now 2 years, one moth old and I am 5 weeks preggers-I am way more dizzy and gassy than last time, and my boobs and stomach dont hurt nearly as much!

Boobs showed up quickly, which was different. No morning sickness yet but I was neck-deep in a toilet for my whole first tri with DD1. I have to cling to hope it won't be that way this time. I had to stay out of our living room because the residual smell of the fireplace made me insta-vomit.

I'm already having epic, not restful dreams like I had later with DD1. I wake up feeling like I've been running next to Mel Gibson's horse in Braveheart all night.

Add to that my DD, entering her terrible twos right on schedule, and I am wiped.

Mostly the same so far. Only real difference is that I am uber tired , but I work full time and have a child to entertain this time. I hope they are pretty similar because I didn't have m/s with my DS.

I had horrible MS with my first pregnancy ( she is now 16months), I mean I had it the WHOLE pregnancy. I dont remember when it stated but although I am nauseous but I think MS had already kicked in last time by now..so Im counting my blessings that Ive only gotten sick twice so far=)

Biggest thing is that my boobs do not hurt AT ALL and I'm so thankful for that! The fatigue seems to be a bit worse this time around, but I also have a 16 month old that does not stop. I didn't have MS with DS and so far with this one...well, I don't even want to say it!

This time my boobs aren't render but my nips were during week 5 (also still breastfeeding so they were being used while sore). Tired but not getting the chance to nap like last time with LO. I didn't have ms last time so hoping that's the same. I have been dizzy this time though.

My first pregnancy was super easy as far as all the typical pregnancy symptoms, but I had other complications that definetly made up for it. I'm already getting heartburn with this pregnancy which I've never had before, so I'm a little nervous to see what's going to happen next. I completely skipped morning sickness last time and I'm hoping that I'll be that lucky again.

Ezra04, I'm right on with you: No sore boobs! Woohoo! Last time around my boobs were so sore right away, just looking at them made them hurt.

I'm sleepy, but not crazy sleepy. Spells of ms and dizziness. No crazy bloat yet, thank goodness, 'cause I still haven't lost all the weight from DS (who's almost two).

My only other unusual sign: The weird, vivid dreams have been happening already.

Still way too early to tell but I got a positive way earlier this time around! I tested negative until 14dpiui with my son (thought I was out for sure) and I got a bfp afternoon of 5dp5dt so like 10 dpo! My first beta today was 1 off of the first for my son and that was 2 days later!

I am still on progestrone and estrogen with my ivf so who knows what symptoms are from what.

With DD1 I got migraines every day for a week leading up to my BFP. The same thing happened with this LO. I was also wicked tired last time, and am still exhausted this time, so that's also the same.

I think so far, the only thing that's noticeably (sp) different is that I'm more moody/impatient this time around. Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
