Love my Rock N Play. We went out and bought it when my LO was a few days old because he hated the bassinet, he sleeps better in this thing than anywhere else. Its also great for babies with reflux
I have one, my first LO slept in it for 3 months next to our bed. This one sleeps in it too for the first part of the night, the rest he is in bed with me due to other reflux reasons.
We love it because it is at an incline which is good for his reflux, and the sides come in close so they are kinda snuggled in there which I'm sure they like.
The only thing, when I had my newest LO I bought a new one that has the head pillow thingy (not sure what it's called) because our old one felt a bit hard. I remember stuffing blankets underneath so it was a tiny bit softer for my older son.

We do like ours, but be cautious that there are reviews that the RNP contributes to flat head syndrome. To combat this, we are starting to transition our daughter out, and we do not use it for naps. Also we bought a Boppy noggin nest and placed it between the frame and fabric (adjusted to support her head).

They have been changed since. You can also put a blanket between the plastic and padding to help. With that said, you can buy the deluxe RnP which is extra padded.

Te only reason we have survived parenthood to this point is because of the Rock n Play. Seriously.
This exactly. I only use this for naps during the day. Sometimes LO doesn't mind be set in their to hang out so I don't have to constantly hold him. We put him in the PnP at night in our room hoping that the transition to the crib would be smoother.
I acknowledge that I may be abnormally worried, but my concern w/ the deluxe for overnight is that it has pillows near baby's face, which is problematic from a SIDS risk perspective.

LOVE this! My son is 5 weeks old and it's the only thing he can sleep more than 2 hours in. In the last week he's been sleeping 5 hour stretch at night! I highly recommend this product! It will definitely be my go to gift for friends in the future. Thanks for the heads up about flat head syndrome...
LO likes the RNP better than the PNP, however these days, he's not really liking it anymore either. I am thinking that LO is getting bigger and is probably time to transition to his crib.
Meh. Finn liked it for maybe 2-3 weeks tops. I never used it for nighttime sleep (I kept him flat in a bassinet so the transition to the crib would be easier) and he would rather take naps in the swing. It was a convenient place to set him down for the first couple weeks I guess, so it wasn't entirely worthless, but I don't know if I would buy it again. I was also worried about the flat head thing so I didn't want to keep him in there too much anyway.
I highly recommend the deluxe rock n play. The pillow part is not think, less think then what Is on the fisher price swing. For the first couple of weeks I put him in the cosleeper if he kept crying I moved him to the RNP.It was great he would sleep longer.Sleeping flat was important to me so once he was fine with that I stopped the RNP at night even if he would sleep longer in the RNP.I just don?t want to deal with the transition issues. What I love about the RNP is it is so easy to move around. When we went on vacation I left the PnP setup at our place and took the RNP to my MIL?s so he would have a place to nap there. It was great.Keep an eye out for sales and coupons.I got mine from target for 40 bucks and it is the sungabunny one.FP had a coupon for 7 off on coupons.com and target had it on sale.

no kidding! Most of the time LO is in her crib, but during wonder weeks her snug-a-bunny r n p saved me - like tonight.
