Curious about having a VBAC

I had my daughter about a year ago, and I'm wondering if there are times when you can do a VBAC no problem, and if there are time is you really shouldn't try a VBAC.  I really wanted to have my daughter naturally.  If anyone has any info. please let me know.  Also I am thinking about trying to have another baby in the next year or two.

    It really depends on your ob gyn because my cousin is pregnant with her second child and her doctor told her she will not be allowed to have a vbac so she has to have a repeat c section. which is bummed about because she wanted to have this one vaginally.

    A good place to start research is with ICAN. There is probably a chapter near you where you could find support and more info. They are also on facebook. If your OB doesn't support VBACS you can always switch to another or even a midwife. If you have only had one csection and no previous uterine surgeries your chances are pretty good. Also, the fact that you have a good distance between your pregnancies is in your favor. The type of scar plays a factor, the best would be a low bikinni cut. One labor does not forecast another, so just because your first one didnt work out does not mean this one will go exactly the same.
