Another Use For a Cell Phone.

Apparently our son has real issues with electronic devices being placed on mommy's stomach.  Without fail, anytime that we put a cell phone or laptop on the wife's stomach Jacob gets all worked up and starts to punch and kick at the spot where the device is.  The other night he almost kicked my cell phone off of her stomach.

I would suggest those of you in the last month or two to give this a try.  It is really something to see!!  No worries, we already checked with our doctor and nothing bad happens from this type of behavior.

    oh that's a good one! I'll try it on my next, my daughter used to get mad and punch and kick if my wife raised her voice to me.  That was very helpful too

    We definitely have to try that one.

    I actually yelled during the Olympics last night and my wife said my son started jumping and punching her. So I yelled again and he did it again...that's kinda awesome. Apparently he is a fan of swimming and diving too. Dope!

    We have experienced that as well. Our daughter has kicked my wife's Kindle off her stomach. Pretty crazy. She says she in invading the babies personal space.

    We were driving around running errands last weekend and Ice T "Original Gangster" came on Sirius Back-Spin (A great station by the way, all the first generation rap is on there!).  Jacob was still prior to that song, but once he felt that bass it was over and he was in there moving like a little mad man!

    So he already has that going for him....

    Our first would get really excited when Metallica would come on the radio.  At 10 PM the local station would have "Mandatory Metallica" and play 3 in a row, and he's get going big time in there, and in between songs 2 and 3 they'd air a commercial or two, he'd go quiet for the commercial and then immediately get going again for song #3.

    Yup, laptop does it every time.  Whenever I put the laptop on my stomach, almost immediately the LO starts going nuts.  Unfortunately, as soon as I take the laptop away so DH can feel, it stops :(
