Surviving Nantucket....alcohol always helps :)

Just got back from taking the girls in town to dinner....had 2 drinks...buzzed and got lost coming home. Our house is only like 15 minutes away...haaha. I blame it on no street lights,,,so frickin dark on those roads!

The "adults" went to dinner on their own which is fine by me...guess me being few yrs younger I'm not considered an adult. The weather is picture perfect. Didn't sleep a wink last night because the older kids sat by the pool near my bedroom until 2am giggling with girls from back home. I so wanted to strangle them.

I'm rambling I know! Oh and shopping with the adults is pure torture! I only wish I had $900 to spend on earrings....good lord. I did see such cute tshirts for babies and I think I might have to grab 2....silly I know! The other snobby couple are coming up tomrrow and I can't wait :) I can't believe it's only 9:35 and I'm ready for bed! On a sad note my mom called me yesterday to tell me someone was rushed to the hospital...possible drowning where my boss lives. Found out today that it was a person we knew that caters to all her parties....so sad. Just never know...

I'm bored so I know you ladies are bored....I could never blog...lol. Have a good evening :) Good night!

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    I have to say that you don't often see "Surviving" and ":Nantucket" in the same sentence== like you are in the most miserable place on earth! LOL.

    Don't buy baby shirts. Don't do it!!! Walk away..

    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    K & K born 11/21/14 at 38wks 4 days

    I kinda wish I could delete....haahaa. You know what I mean! It's the drinks talking too. No seriously my friends at home who know my psycho boss realizes how bad it could get with them for a week! Oh and Nancy Thayer is the other Nantucket author. I thought so but didn't want to say for sure until I found out. Her books revolve around Nantucket also.

    Just making fun of you but remember that you are at work--it's not your vacation. Pyscho bosses suck and I'm sure it isn't fun to have to live with them and see them buy crazy stuff etc...

    Alcohol helps everything...it'll get me through the next couple of months while I wait for my injectables to show up!  Just be careful, you might end up buying those $900 earrings and not even remember it. :)  It sounds like you're managing to have a fun time...keep us updated with your buzzed posts!

    Wow...just read my not-so-much-making sense post this morning....

    I know some of you have way more to complain about and hope you don't think my whining is important! Just letting off some steam and giving you a take on nanny life! But I wouldn't really want to bash them on here anyhow...they are good to me and my parents in some ways. Every job has it's moments. I just wish I had a "real" job...teaching, nursing, anything!! I'm more like a personal assistant to them since the kids are no longer "little"!

    Yes I am very lucky to be able to come here almost every yr for the last 18 yrs to see this beautiful place. I'm just laughing on what McIrish said :)

    Now my boss wants to know how come the girls are not up and ready to go boating...hmmm maybe because YOU never told me they were going? Guess my job meant I was a mind reader too. :) Oh and I like how I wasn't invited...that would of been so fun :(

    I hope that was a 15 minute walk, and not a 15 minute buzzed drive!!
