Leaving Diapers in Wash Overnight

Our hydro is cheaper when used in evenings and overnight, however it's often difficult to find time to run the washer between people showering, and just general business. I generally run a quick wash, and then go back to the machine, add soap and run the hot wash/extra rinse. Do you think it would end up with mildew/mold if I ran the quick wash before bed, and then set the washer on delay to run the full wash about 6-8 hours later?

    no they don't get mold,every night I keep a container with water and soap to put the night time diaper and the morning diapers on it,then after take care what I have to do in the morning I do a hand wash.

    I do it all the time.  I love being able to set the start time on my washer for any load.
