CD moms - Sunbaby dipes

Awhile back there was quite the craze for the Sunbaby diapers around here and I'm wondering if those of you who got some are still liking them. How are they holding up? How do they compare in absorbency to any other dipes you have, especially now that LO's are getting older? Thanks!

Edit: Oh! And did they have the 2 different sizes back then? I don't remember...it says size 1 is for thinner babies and size 2 for bigger (thicker) ones. Which size did you get and where has your LO fallen on the charts?

    Mine are from before they started making them sized.  They still work great a year later.  No issues.  Work just as well as my more expensive dipes.  I've lost a total of 3 snaps from my 24 diapers, but I blame my old dryer because it would eat clothes and the snaps would get stuck.  Not the diapers' fault at all.

    I got mine last Oct so before sizing. They're holding up great. I use then for naps with the MF insert they came with and a Best Bottom hemp. (My kid is a wavy wetter when he sleeps!) I had two buttons fall of but the wonderful Miss Kattyleigh fixed them for me and they're good as new! I heard somewhere that the inserts in the new ones are bigger which would be nice.

    I'm supposed to be getting some any day now.  They were a gift for Audrey's birthday from a friend and they have been on the extremely slow boat from China.

    Although, I'm excited to be able to add to my stash, I do wish they had two rows of snaps and/or hip snaps vs. just the one.  But hey.  They are cheap.  So you get what you get.

    They do have two rows of snaps unless you are getting some really old ones. Like from two years ago or more. I love my sunbaby diapers. I have had some for more than a year before sizing and I have 6 size twos. I have been told to always get the size two diapers because the ones run really small.

    Good to hear. I'm strongly considering them to replace some of my old bG 3.0's. I'd of course love all new 4.0's but I'm not sure that could be justified with dipes like Sunbabys and Kawaii out there...

    Do you either fix aplix or convert aplix to snaps?  I have some BG 3.0s that I bought 3rd hand and they just don't stay velcroed and the tabs are curled and the laundry tabs are shot.  I am not skilled with needle and thread

    Yep. We like them ;) I have older and the size 2's. I like the newer ones better for sure. Bigger inserts. Go with the size 2's. They will last much longer.

    I haven't yet converted an aplix to snaps but I'm about to check out some of my friend's diapers next week so if I can do it, I'll keep you posted for sure.
