belly bandit vs wink band

I just posted on third tri - but thought to do it here too. i am thinking about post baby belly and I wanted to know if anyone has experience with the belly bandit or the wink band.  they are not cheap and i only want to buy one if i hear some good feedback!

    I didn't use either.  Instead I bought a few extra-firm hold tummy/hip body shapers from Wal-Mart. It was super tight - almost uncomfortable to wear, but I got used to it.  I paid less than $20 and was able to wash them and still wear one basically at all times from the day I got home from the hospital until 8 weeks PP.  I was running by 3 weeks PP, and I even wore it for that.  I really think it worked as far as compressing my hips back and shrinking my uterus fast.  I was back in my pre-pregnancy pants within a week.  I would definitely recommend using something like that over one of the expensive gimmicks.

    I have no idea what the "wink band is" but the name kind of freaks me out.

    I don't consider the Belly Bandit a "gimmick"  My OB highly recommended it to me and I trust her with my life...literally.

    I got the bamboo one and w/in weeks I was back into my pp jeans and feeling sexy again! ;o)

    Every body is different but I would recommend the belly bandit...again and again

    In the hospital, my doctor gave me a a regular old compression belt.  You can get them at any drug store or amazon for cheap.  It definitely helped my stomach shrink back to normal size pretty quickly and gave me some extra support.  I don't think it could be much different than the expensive Belly Bandit.
