Excuse my complaniing: I remain thankful to have inside babies who are growing and thriving...
So the last two nights have been no fun, contractions all night long no matter how I lay, sit, move, or "sleep". Drink water, lay on left side, try changing positions. Nothing helps. I actually spent last night packing my hospital bag because I was convinced I was starting to labor.
BUT then morning comes, I felt exhausted but showered, dressed and then had some breakfast and felt OK. What in the world? How can I feel so terrible at night but then OK during the day?
Re: dear 33 weeks: why are nights so hard?
Hey! We have the exact same due date! I hear you on the rough nights! I mentioned having a lot more contractions at night at my last appointment and my doctor pretty much just said "oh, you probably just notice it more at night because you are resting and paying more attention to what your body is doing" ummmm ok? I don't know if that's the case but he didn't seem concerned. Doesn't it sometimes feel like the next 4 weeks are going to take an entire year? Hope it gets better for you soon!
