Teething fever? Something else?

DS has had a fever since about 3:30 pm yesterday. He had been really fussy/wanting me to hold him all day, so he might have had it before then. It hasn't been over 101 and I've been able to keep it down to 98-99 with tylenol. He had it through the night also. Should I call his dr? How do you know of its just teething related? 

ETA- normal eating, normal diapers

    I always say it never hurts to call. There is so much going around already it's crazy. I know my DD had a fever last night too of 100.1 I just gave her the tylenol and it went down and she was fine this morning. If she has it again today I think I might call because she has been playing with her ear. Not fussy tho.

    Hope he gets better soon, it sux to have sick LOs.

    Our Pedi advised us that you do not get a fever from teething. Never hurts to call. Hope LO feels better!

    That's what I thought too, but I called and the nurse said it sounded like teething. Guess I will just keep an eye on it!
