so this is what it would be like if I went back to school...

I have to do some work to renew my teaching certificate.  I finished my college class before DS got here, but I also have to read a bunch of books and write a 6 page paper.  

First of all, I haven't written anything since I graduated from college 3 years ago.  I believe the last paper I turned in was 20 pages.  Now, sitting here, I can barely clear up the fog in my mind to write the first sentence.  All I can think is "Oh, the diapers are done.  I need to dry them."  And, "I really need to get a baby gate soon."

Then DS decides to wake up only 30 min. into his nap.  I'm just going to wait it out and hope he goes back to sleep.  Is that terrible?  I only have 1 page done! 5 to go... and I just realized I'm also distracted by Bumping.  Ok, back to work!

    Yep, when I was in school and writing a paper, I had to set myself the rule that I was only allowed online if I needed to do research for what I was working on.  Working in the college library helped me with that because I didn't have the links to the sites I usually go to.

    Good luck with your paper.  I hope you don't get too sidetracked.
