Changing user name?

Hi all,

I'm not actually new to the Bump, but I've always had a little trouble totally figuring it out.  I'd like to know how to change my user name.  Can anyone help??  I've tried numerous times...  Thanks!

    You cannot change your username. You have to create a new one.

    This is true.  I just tried yesterday and contacted community@thebump.com and got a reply telling me that they could no longer change user names and that I would have to create a new account.  Which I have done.  I changed my email address on my old account to an older address I do not use so that when I created my new account I could use the email address I currently use.
