From now on I should just shop at Petsmart for DD since all she wants to play with are dog toys. Thank goodness Max likes to share, but when she grabs his favourite toy he runs over to me, sits and kind of cocks his head to say, "mom...look what E is doing" I then have to pry the toy out of her chubby fingers and give it back to Max who then runs out of the room with toy in his mouth to hide it from her...
What unconventional toys does your LO love?

Re: I'm done wasting money on baby toys...
they aren't toys but basically anything she shouldn't have- my laptop cord, my laptop keys, papers, the remote, my phone, the jar of triplepaste or lotion when i try to change her.
she can have toys right in front of her & will drop them to go for these items. has also thrown a few tantrums when i take these away from her
Lol
I should have put quotes around "toys"

My freaking cell phone! He loves it! Not even looking at it. He loves to gnaw on it! I DL some fisher price baby apps in case I'm ever in dire need but I'm not planning on showing them to him now because he'll love it even more!
At least Max is "cool" with sharing his toys.

DS loves empty water bottles and bags of chips. We went to the park last week, and I laid out all of his toys on our blanket, but all he wanted was my bottle and bag of pretzels lol.
Let's see...he loves the remotes, laptops, laptop cords, any important piece of paper on the coffee table (yet he turns away from the scrap paper I give him), anything with glowing numbers (cable box, DVR...), anything with buttons, tags (but he doesn't like his Taggie football), the calculator, and the free toothbrush I got from the dentist last week.
He's napping right now. I think I'm going to get out some pots and pans and wooden spoons for him to play with when he wakes up
BFP #2 - MC Aug 2012 - D&C w/ complications
Drinking straws are DS' toy of choice. He tries to steal them out of my drink and will play with them forever. He likes straw wrappers too, but he just wants to eat that.
He also really, really wants my Nook, cell phone, and laptop. Love of technology starts young.
