DE ladies-- question for you

This is probably a dumb question but I am asking it anyway.  I go for a lining check on 8/17 for my mock cycle.  Since the estrace is suppressing ovulation, will I need provera to bring on a period to shed the lining that we just grew?  Or will AF just come on its own after stopping estrace? I will on vacation the week following the lining check so I need to know if I have to bring supplies!

TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    For my mock I was put on PIO and then had a P4 drawn a week later to make sure the dose was correct. After the draw I stopped the meds, so only 6 days of progesterone instead of the full 2 weeks.

    Beta1 9/10: 152.7! Beta2 9/12: 378! Beta3 9/14: 1224! 

    1st ultrasound 10/1: TWO beautiful heartbeats!  Overjoyed!

    My mock instructions says nothing about p4. It just says estrace and ends there. Hmm..

    Hmmmm is right. I'd make the call, but I assume you're wondering why no progesterone was included in your box-o-meds. I'd ask on the n54 board if you need a quick answer as there are ladies there that may have personal experience with the mock protocol at your clinic.

    Sent my nurse an email...   I know this is stupid and dumb but I am scared of PIO and hoping I don't have to use it!!!

    You can ask to do inserts as well, but they're really not too bad. If you've done the IM trigger you're mostly there already. If you're urged to do them we're here for you !!!!

    DH has done my all my IM triggers but I'd have to put on my big girl panties with PIO. I'm ok with messy inserts!

    For my mock, I was put on provera after passing.

    ETA: I did not go on PIO or suppositories for my mock. FWIW- I was deathly afraid of PIO, but chose it over suppositories. Personally, I prefer PIO hands down. It is not all that bad. I am tender and sore lately, but it is very tolerable. TMI, I like being able to see what is coming out for discharge, and would be scared seeing blood from irritation of suppositories. Also, some girls have gotten SCH from suppositories. I think it is called sub chronic hemotoma, which is like a blood clot in your ute. I would rather not deal with that. People can still get them without suppositories though. Just my personal input, not that you asked for if ??

    Got an email back from my nurse tonight!!  Guess she works late.  She said no P4 in mock cycle and they'd prefer I use PIO but I can decline until the first pg test (but they don't recommend yada yada).  I avoided it all this time..

    I didn't do mock, so no experience there.

    You and I are total opposites in that I've never done supps and the mere thought of them scares me! Stupid, I know. But, I know you'll be fine with the PIO.

    TTC #1 since June 2010
    Me: 36, DH: 42
    Dx: DOR and MFI

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
    DE IVF #2 (shared cycle with new donor - Nov/Dec/ 2012): - BFP!!!!! 12/14/12. U/S on 12/27 shows twins!!!!!

    I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
    3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
    Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
    PAIF/SAIF always welcome
