I will never understand the desire to fake a multiple pregnancy (often a complicated one that ends in tragedy) or the sick, twisted mind that must come up with the idea.
That said, I just have to tell you how impressed I am with the ability of some of you to sniff out the fakers and super sleuth your way through Google to find proof of holes-in-stories and noose-forming lies that trolls always hang themselves with. Also, I'm amazed at the way you guys can tie AEs to one another and figure out who is responsible for which MUD. Good work MoMs!
Re: Smell that?? It's Fakey Fakersons...
So funny how this used to happen ALL of the time. Like at least once a week we had a faker, and almost every day we had someone who wanted to know how to get twins, or thought they were having twins without confirmation.
And people wonder why we're so skeptical of newbies... nothing personal to the real ones, but it's just so common!!
We need a thread with links to all the faker posts so we can defend ourselves when people accuse us of being hateful/snarky.. It's like that old saying "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Truth.
i get it, the protection of our coveted group MoMs. What I dont get is why waste your time and why does it matter if someone is a "fakerson". I question that because it seems like energy and time wasted on clearly people who are not 100% all there. Perhaps, i dont understand because if someone if faking it what do I care unless I am directly involve (stolen pic or info). These "fakersons" are just envious of what us MoMs have.

Because it's kind of fun to figure out. I can't speak for everyone else, but I'd like t think I could be an amateur detective one day. Getting to the bottom of a story is a sweet little rush. Maybe I've just weird (that was rhetorical).
That I get. But I'd be so afraid of calling out a real person who's freaked out about having multiples and now is getting the unjust scorn of a group of angry MoMs that thinks she's a faker.
But when it's obvious, it's worth calling out.
