sucessful flight with my LO!

I had to travel to my hometown suddenly for a funeral and took LO with me. DH had to stay home for work. I was really nervous about it as I haven't even driven anywhere with LO by myself. LO did awesome! Slept on the plane & cried in the terminals a bit, but not too bad. The woman sitting next to me on one flight looked down at LO and said "Well I guess I picked the wrong seat". Um, thanks lady. But LO just nursed & slept : )

Although the circumstances were not good, I'm really glad we were able to travel together. It's given me a lot more confidence to take LO with me without DH. Makes a little trip to Target by myself seem so easy!

    I'm sorry for your loss.

    I'm glad you had a successful flight. I'll bet that lady felt stupid for her comment after how awesome your LO did!

    I'm glad you had a good flight, but am sorry for the reason you had to travel.  I know what you mean about gaining more confidence.  My first outing alone with LO was not good, but the second time was better and gave me the confidence to keep trying.
