  Rowan.  I love this name.  It's naturey (yay made up words) without screaming it.  I know a friend with a LO with this name and he is ADORABLE!  It's kind of a mn contender for DH and I for our long list.

  Ronan is fine, and Roan feels like it's missing something to me.

  I love Ronan!  Rowan seems hard to say (just doesn't roll off the tongue for me), and I don't really know how to pronounce Roan. Is it like Groan without the G? Or Ro-an?

  Rowan is my first choice. Just have always loved it.

  Ronan sounds great, but I just don't like it as much.

  I love Ronan (means "little seal" in gaelic) and I like Rowan (little red one)  Have you seen the film The Secret of Roan Inish? Makes me like Roan, but I'm not sure I'd name my son this name.

  Rowan is nice, but the only people I know named Rowan are girls.

  I love the way Rowan sounds. I like Roan too, but not as much.

  I like Ronan the best. Rowan is only okay to me, never been a huge fan of it but I don't think it's really THAT bad either. Roan's only okay, too.

  I love Rowan. Don't much care for Roan or Ronan. Roan especially. Sounds like groan.

  Our boy name choice is Roman, which is very similar to all three. So obviously, I like that a lot! Of the ones you listed, I really like Rowan, then a distant second Ronan, then Roan as an even more distant third.

  Rowan- it sounds the best.  Ronan doesn't flow as nicely when you say it and I agree with PP about Roan missing something.
