Baby coming home

I am both thrilled and anxious that Lila is coming home later today.  She is taking all her feeds orally although BF is a struggle, passed the car seat test and we are looking forward to now feeling like parents.

Being a NICU parent has been the most challenging and humbling experience of my life. I am so grateful it is now over and in to the next chapter. Lila weighs a little over 5 lbs. I cannot imagine releasing a baby considerably smaller than that. 

TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN

FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

No more frosties

IVF #2. September 2014

PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

SET November 9, 2014
Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN

Not sure where to go from here.

    Congrats! Our Flynn came home last week and its definitely been an experience. I know how you feel about being anxious and thrilled!

    I understand your excitement being combined with anxiety. I battled that anxiety for the first several days hard, and I still am sometimes, although it's gotten better. It's awesome to start settling in as a family, though! Good luck and congrats.

    Congrats!! I was scared to bring my lo home also but it has been wonderful having him here!  You'll adjust quickly!  Enjoy it!
