strange new symptom. anyone else?

when i pee i get this slight soreness in my belly button. 

as any self diagnosing nut job would do, i googled it and saw a bunch of stuff pop up about hernias.  wtf?

it's not overly painful, it's just a sensation i notice only when going to the bathroom (#1).

anyone else have this?

    My whole belly aches below my belly button when I go... but it aches a lot of the time anyway. I carry really out front and low though so I think that may be what it is from. I would definitely ask your doctor about that at your next appointment though. If your appointment isn't soon maybe call?

    I'm not a doctor, but from what I've seen from people with hernias (I've seen a lot - work on the surgical unit), it usually acts up more when the patient has a bowel movement. Since it's only hurting when you pee, I wouldn't think it was a hernia, especially  since it would hurt if you had to #2 it because your stomach clenches when you #2. But, that's JMO...I'd definitely ask your doctor about it. It sounds uncomfortable, hope it goes away soon!

    yeh, i know dr. google is the worst, but i'm also a compulsive internet addict so i'm up a creek. ;)
